ABOUT ME.

Audio Engineer / Drone Pilot / Radio Operator / Outdoor Enthusiast / Texan

I’m a freelance professional in Austin, Texas, but I’ve called a few different places home! I was born and raised in Houston, and later moved to Minneapolis, where I studied jazz and saxophone under Kenni Holmen — an accomplished recording artist who’s worked with Prince, Celine Dion, and Janet Jackson. I play multiple instruments, including the clarinet, bass, guitar, and piano, and in 2014, I moved to Austin to study Sound Recording Technology under Gary Powell at the University of Texas.

Since then, I’ve been a part of NPR’s Next Gen Radio Program, and worked on a number of projects at Texas Monthly, including their Sound Check music series, and Skip Hollandsworth’s highly-rated investigative podcast, Tom Brown’s Body.

I’ve also branched out into photo/video production, and am a certified drone pilot, working with clients across a range of editorial and commercial projects. When I’m not out on an assignment, you can probably find me somewhere outside riding my bike or taking my dog, Bandit, out on the trail. I’m a proud Texas Master Naturalist and amateur radio operator.
